General George Casey, Chief of Staff of the Army

General George Casey was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as Chief of Staff of the Army on April 10, 2007. The former Commanding General, Multi-National Force – Iraq is the highest-ranking military officer to visit the AEC. Visiting Philadelphia with his wife to attend the Army-Navy football game, General Casey received a briefing on the purpose, practices and future of the center, took a guided tour, and answered questions from AEC Soldiers.

Major General Thomas P. Bostick, Commanding General, U.S. Army Recruiting Command

As the Commanding General of U.S. Army Recruiting, Major General Thomas Bostick helps to shape our future leaders daily. He has served in a variety of command and staff assignments, both in the United States and overseas, including Operation Iraqi Freedom. A highly decorated Soldier, Bostick's unwavering commitment to our nation has earned him numerous awards and prestigious medals.

Mr. Ronald J. James, Assistant Secretary of the Army, for Manpower and and Reserve Affairs

From proudly serving in the 101st Airborne Division to his current position as the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Ronald James' entire career has been shaped by his decisive leadership skills. Appointed to his present title in 2006 by President George W. Bush, James works tirelessly on matters crucial to maintaining strong Army leadership, including equal employment opportunity, training, force structure and manpower management.

Cyber Girl kicks off inaugural tournament

Jo Garcia, A 2008 Cyber Girl of the Year, stopped by the AEC to welcome visitors to the AEC’s first gaming tournament. She took her best shot in the mission simulators and gaming stations, and spent time with the Career Navigators and the Global Base Locator. Despite offers from the staff, she declined a full-time job at the AEC.
